MUSICAL THEATRE 23/11/12

Rachels Lesson:

Tie work and went to see Frantic Assembly.

So, this was it, we had to finish our T.I.E otherwise it would just end in disaster.

We got into a quiet room with Rachel and just spoke about what we had got and what we were going to do and how we could add josh into it.
Rachel came up with the idea of him always being late (like in reality) and we are complaining to him about why he never turns up and then we got Maisie's story added onto the end and it worked amazingly.

Introduction: Argument goes into Frantic Assembly Chair duets but with 3 people (Josh will arrive late, just like real life).

Part 1: My story about the Rigouris Initiation and how everyone thinks I am the dumb character but when I come up with this story Grace and Maisie try and make it rubbish by interrupting me all the time but then i finish my story with success and everyone's surprised i actually came up with a really good idea of how to start it off.

Part 2: Graces story about the massive Irish legend Benandonner who Maisie and myself play and Josh finally turns up at the end and plays Finn and we argue into the next section of Joshes story.

Part 3: Josh just goes on about the whole story of Finns life and were he grew up and where he lived and how his mother was involved in his life. Whilst Grace, Maisie and myself pretend to fall asleep and not care about him, because he was late and didn't care.

Part 4: This is Maisies story and we act it out this is about the Salmons Revenge. Graces plays Finn and gets carried away and is still Finn at the end and Josh is Finnegas and I play the fish which in the story im not happy about and I say 'i'm going to be the best god damn fish you've ever seen!'
Then it ends with Maisie, Josh and myself walking away from Grace who still thinks she is Finn the strong, Brave character.
I am so glad we have finished it because it was starting to get on all of our nerves that we had nothing and it wasn't working at all, when all we needed was a teachers opinion to make it all work.

Later on:

WE WENT TO SEE FRANTIC ASSEMBLY!

On the coach I was anticipating about what I was going to see.
I got there and wasn't expecting anything amazing because I didn't seemed to amazed by what i had seen on YouTube. But, when it started I was amazed! I absolutely loved it! It was about a subject I knew a lot about...Boxing! 
Watching the performance was absolutely amazing, it really opened my eyes to a different side to performing. It also gave me an idea for our TIE to use the least amount of props possible and instead of using the props we could explain more with words what we were doing and what was in the scene, and also we could describe with a chair sequence that we were fighting. This was a new step towards getting our TIE finished. YAY!
Beautiful Burnout, definitely had a massive input towards getting our TIE finished.
