The lesson went ok, Josh wasn't late which was a bonus and we were ready to work hard!
We had our script and our notes that we had made for each scene, and were ready to map it all out. Grace took control and was 'director' for the day and told us where to go, but she did ask for our input, which was good. Everyone was working together! We worked on scenes 1+2 for the day and got them up to scratch and clean, but while we were working on those two scenes, we were thinking how and what we could do with the rest of the play; it was becoming hard to find ideas, and was hard to understand the play as it was in Irish slang, and none of us could get our heads around it.
We had a chat with Rachel and she had another look through the play and speed read through the play and said that it was tricky, so she decided to get us another version of the play, which was easier to understand; it was still in Irish!
We read through it and we made some notes and decided who would do what with which section!
The day was over and we still had nothing but we had enough time to figure it out which was good.
Grace decided that we should all come in earlier the next day and rehearse and go through ideas we had for the play.

What are the group dynamics like?
In my opinion, I don't feel like I am a leader in the group, one reason could be because I get self-concious about acting and two because there are some very bold characters within the group. I feel that grace and Josh are more the 'Leaders' of the group and Maisie and myself are back ground people who have input but don't take control.
When we started rehearsals these roles quickly went into place because the group mucked about a lot it came upon us that Grace was the one settling everyone down and taking control of the script. I suppose I did feel a bit in the back ground at times, because my thoughts were never being heard, but really everyone in the group was understanding and listened to each other.
